Chiara Dynys was born in Mantua and works in Milan. Since the beginning of his activity, in the early nineties, he has acted on two main strands, both attributable to a single attitude towards reality: identifying in the world and in the forms the presence and sense of the anomaly, the variant, the «threshold» that allows the mind to pass from human reality to an almost metaphysical scenario. To do this, it uses seemingly eclectic materials, ranging from light to glass, mirrors, ceramics, castings, fabric, video and photography.

Chiara Dynys has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in important museums and public and private cultural institutions in Italy and around the world. Among the most important solo exhibitions and permanent collections we can include: Galerie de France 2, Paris 1993; Galleria Monica De Cardenas, Milan 1993; Galleria Weber, Turin 1994; Galleria Massimo Martino, Mendrisio 1998; Galleria Fumagalli, Bergamo 2002; Accademia di Architettura, Mendrisio 2006; Chiesa del Santo Volto di Gesù, Rome 2006; Palazzo Reale, Milan 2008; Museo Carlo Bilotti – Aranciera di Villa Borghese, Rome 2008; Villa Panza, Varese 2009; ZKM – Museum fur Neue Kunst, Karlsruhe 2009; Archivio Centrale dello Stato, Rome 2010; Galleria Laure-Marie Fleisch, Rome 2010; Bocconi University, Milan 2012; GNAM – Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna, Rome 2013; Poldi Pezzoli Museum, Milan 2013; Arkhangelskoye – VII Moscow Biennale, Moscow 2017; Cortesi Gallery, Lugano 2018; MASI, Lugano 2018.
