Maurizio Fusari is one of the leading figures in Italian goldsmith art. Trained at the school of Giò Pomodoro (1930-2002), he then continued his successful career with personal creations, also expanding into collaborations with Aligi Sassu, Salvatore Fiume, Pietro Consagra and Pasquale Galbusera. “In my work” the author explains, “I put all my feelings, they are forms that come from the mind and are imbued with a symbolic and ancestral value”.
Painter and performer with a background in the field of philosophical practices, Francesca Nobile has developed over the years a personal language that progressively frees itself from figuration, leading to a liquid painting where splashes of color invade the pictorial support, bringing to the surface suggestions of constellations, flowered meadows and marine carpets. These fluid and light forms are for her “expressions of melancholy and vitality, narrating the metaphysical and everyday aspect.”
