Necklaces, 2024
Silver and gold
Edition of 9 pieces + 2 PA
The necklace designed by Loris Cecchini, named Waterbones (sequence 59), is a complex structure of 59 modules made of silver and gold that completely adapt to the body of the wearer. The jewel scales down the artist’s large installations into smaller forms, self-generative modular systems that seem to be free and chaotic but that are strongly grounded in mathematical patters or algorithmic calculations.
