FAUST CARDINALI
Paris, 1961
Faust Cardinali, son of the informal painter Franco Cardinali, spent his childhood in Paris before moving near Arezzo. He studied at the Art Institute of Sansepolcro and became involved in the art of goldsmithing and the working of precious materials. In the 1980s, he developed a Baroque style, experimenting with materials and textures. In 1991, he returned to Paris, founding the association “Artsenal” in an abandoned factory and began creating monumental installations and wearable sculptures, exhibited in prestigious museums such as the Ircam Centre Pompidou and the Museum of Modern Art.
